The cigar has wonderful complexity and is incredibly well balanced. It was a pure joy to smoke.
Construction
As I held the I Linea secreta cigar, I got the feeling that it was made to preserve the secrecy of a medieval queen. A story that would forever amaze historians around the world and whose truth would never be told.
The whole blend is a secret that Hemmy didn’t want to reveal.
The cigar was incredibly firmly rolled and had a oily feeling to it.
Scent and cold draw
I’m usually pretty brief in my description of the scent but the scent of the wrapper was quite special. The scent of the wrapper reminded me of a fainter shade of the leaves of the leaves of grapes. The filler had a scent of cedar. The cold draft was quite nice and gave flavors of cedar, floral nuances and nuttiness.
1/3 Lets light up the Hemmys Linea Secreta and see what it has to offer
It all started with a creamy texture with a slight hint of butteriness. The dominant flavors I felt in the cigar were a smooth fruitiness that somehow went towards grapes, general pepperiness, hay, sweet fresh herbs and florality. In the background there were flavors of minerals, vanilla bean, saltiness and woodiness. The retrohalation was smooth and gave nuances of nuttiness and white pepper.
2/3 The cigar shows complexity.
The texture became creamier and the buttery hint from earlier disappeared. The flavors I felt were hay, nuttiness, general fruitiness, florality, herbs and anise. In the background there were flavors of hickory and espresso with syrupy sweetness. retrohalation was smooth and gave nuances of hay and nuttiness.
3/3 The cigar finishes in a lovely way.
The texture was creamy as in the second third and the flavors I felt were hickory, pepperiness that somehow brought to mind barbecue spice, hay and nuttiness that went in the direction of pistachio. In the background there were nuances of espresso with syrupy sweetness and a combination of floral and fruity. The retrohalation was smooth and gave nuances of hay.

Conclusion
Hemmy’s Linea Secreta robusto is a cigar with a good balance of flavors while offering a smooth complexity. The flavors are fruity and sweet until the end where the cigar is rounded off with a little more earthy notes. The body which is on medium is good for most cigar smokers. If I compare price vs taste vs quality I think you get a lot of cigar for the money.
