When I hold a Macanudo cigar, it’s always like holding perfection.
Construction
The cigar was box pressed and the edges were round and smooth. The wrapper was matte to the feel.
Wrapper: Ecuador – Binder: Nicaragua – Filler: Nicaragua
Taste

Smell and cold draw
I brought the cigar to my nose and felt the wrapper smell of hay while the filler smelled of hay and dark chocolate. The cold draft gave me shades of milkiness and oddly candy.
Let’s see what the Macanudo Inspirado red robusto cigar has to offer lit
The cigar was not complex and the flavors I felt were the same from start to finish. The texture was slightly creamy and the flavors I felt were general spiciness, leather, espresso, hay, cacao, nuttiness, saltiness and sweet licorice. The retrohale was quite spicy and tickled the nose, the flavors that came through were cayenne pepper.
After taste
Dark chocolate and walenuts
Body
Full
Smoke time
60 minutes
Conclusion
Macanudo Inspirado red robusto is a cigar without much complexity. The lack of complexity makes it suitable for moments there when you can’t or don’t have the energy to put a lot of fucus on a cigar. The body is full and suits the slightly more experienced aficionados. If I compare price vs. quality and taste, I think it might be where it should be, maybe a little cheap.
