A cigar with earthy flavors. If you like woodiness and different chocolate nuances, this might be the cigar for you.
Construction
The cigar was tightly rolled with a closed foot. There was a slight oiliness that wrapped around the cigar.
Wrapper: H2000 Ecuador – Binder: Cameroon – Filler: Nicaragua
Scent and cold draw
It’s not often that I feel that the aroma and the cold draw reveal anything about the flavor of a cigar, but in this case they did. The aromas I felt were chocolate, hay and coffee beans while the cold draw gave me flavors of maltiness and chocolate.
1/3 Lets light up the Enclave Habano toro
After I had toasted the Aj Fernandez Encvalve habano toro I was greeted by a lighter creamy texture and flavors of a dominant taste of wood followed by nuances of florality, cacao, roasted nuts mixed with herbs and a mix of leather and earthiness. In the background there were nuances of pepperiness reminiscent of white pepper and a sweetness reminiscent of vanilla pod. The retrohalation tickled my nose slightly and gave nuances of white pepper.
2/3 a ligher complexity emerged
As I approached the second third the texture became a little creamier which made the cigar more enjoyable. Wood was still the dominant flavor but was now reminiscent of oak and cedar wood followed by flavors of hay, cacao, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground coffee beans, sweet floral notes, a combination of leather and earthiness and salted peanuts. In the background there were shades of general sweetness and acidity. The Retrohalation became smoother and provided me with shades of general woodiness.
3/3 Lets see how the Enclave toro ends
The texture became significantly creamier and elevated the moment. The flavors I felt were Dark chocolate mixed with cacao, hay, cinnamon, leather, nuttiness reminiscent of almond and hazelnut, woodiness, earthiness, saltiness and coffee. In the background there were nuances of Florality and biscuit. Retrohalation was smooth and gave nuances of woodiness and hay.

Conclusion
Aj Fernandes Enclave Habano toro is a complex cigar with a full body with earthy flavors. It suits the slightly more experienced Aficionados. If I compare price vs taste vs quality I think it is where it should be.
