When I smoked the cigar, the snow had almost completely melted away, even though it is winter. The air was incredibly humid and compared to the previous week it almost felt warm outside. It was +2 degrees.
Construction
Usually I write about the blend and where the tobacco comes from. Unfortunately, I do not know the blend of this cigar. What I can say is that there were no flaws. The tobacco was evenly distributed and firmly rolled.
Taste unlitt
Let’s start slowly with the cold draft. What I was met with was a definite taste of sweet hay and a pleasant fruitiness.
Taste lit
After I had lit the cigar, a lot of nice flavors came out. I was expecting a little given the size of the cigar. While the cigar wasn’t complex, there was a dynamism to the flavors that I really enjoyed. The flavors in the cigar that alternated between each other were dried hay with a nutty taste towards pistachio. In the background there was a light sweet fruitiness with a sweetness reminiscent of vanilla sugar. Flavors of dark bread balancing all the sweet flavors in the cigar. During the rethrohalation i found flavors of white pepper and got a tickling sensation in the nose. The texture was creamy and left a dry feeling in the mouth between puffs. The cigar had a mild bordering medium.
Aftertaste
The aftertaste was the classic walnut taste and left a dry feeling in the mouth.
Smoke time
The cigar took about 30 minutes to smoke.
Would i smoke the cigar again? Yes and i will 🙂
