What a wonderful experience the Casa Magna cigar offered.
Construction
The wrapper of the cigar had a silky feel to it while being firmly and evenly rolled.
Wrapper: Ecuador – Binder: Nicaragua – Filler: Nicaragua
Smell and cold draw
I think the Casa magna XV anniversary toro cigar had an absolutely incredible aroma. The wrapper reminded me of nougat chocolate and fruitiness while the filler smelled of sweet coffee beans. The cold draft almost felt like a lovely dessert with flavors of milk chocolate and fruitiness. An incredible start to the cigar.
1/3 Lets light up the Casa magna XV anniversary toro cigar
I want to say right now that the Casa magna XV anniversary toro cigar offered an incredible taste experience. The first thing that met my taste buds was an oily texture that kept the cigar from feeling dry on my taste buds. The flavors the cigar offered were general spiciness, a fruitiness reminiscent of exotic fruits, milk chocolate, cedar wood and florality. In the background were shades of vanilla sugar, leather, coffee latte and citrus. The retrohalation tickled my nose a bit and gave nuances of white pepper and cayenne pepper. The fact that it gave flavor nuances that reminded me a bit of exotic fruits I think is quite unique, it’s not often I feel that nuance.
2/3 The Casa Magna XV Anniversary cigar shows some complexity.
As I approached the second third, the texture of the cigar changed a bit. The texture was oily and slightly creamy. The flavors I felt were cedar and general woodiness, milk chocolate and cacao, general fruitiness mixed with floral flavors, a nuttiness best described as a mix of pistachio, cashew and macademia nuts, Caffe latte and a syrup-like sweetness. In the background were shades of leather, ground coffee beans and citrus. The retrohalation tickled the nose a bit and gave nuances of white pepper and cayenne pepper.
3/3 A wonderful finish to the cigar
As I stepped into the last third of the Casa Magna XV anniversary toro cigar the texture changed a bit, The texture was a mix of creamy and oily. The flavors the cigar provided were a nutty mix of cashew nuts, roasted almonds and pistachio nuts, general floral, dark chocolate, leather, espresso, leather and syrup-like sweetness. In the background there was general fruitiness, licorice, citrus, nougat chocolate and saltiness. The rethrohale tickled my nose a bit and gave nuances of white pepper and cayenne pepper.
After taste
A mix of walenuts and dark chocolate
Body
The cigar had a medium body bordering on full
Smoke time
70 minutes
Conclusion
Casa magna XV anniversary toro is a complex cigar with a lot of flavors. The flavors are balanced. Unfortunately, I had to take puffs more often than usual to keep it from going off. The body is well suited for the slightly more experienced Afisionados. If I compare price vs. taste vs. quality, I think it is a bit underpriced, even though I had to puff it faster than usual.
