El Septimo Rembrandt torpedo cigar review

Born in 1606, Rembrandt van Rijn redefined portraiture with his command of light, shadow, and human emotion. A leader of the Dutch Golden Age, his works—from intimate etchings to grand oil paintings—capture more than likeness; they reveal character. Centuries later, his legacy still sets the standard for timeless

The Storm on the Sea of Galilee.

The Storm on the Sea of Galilee is written in the New Testament, the painting tells how Jesus calmed the violent storm of Galilee.

Let the cigar remind you to try to stay calm when life gets difficult and the challenges tough.

There is a strong lesson behind the painting, whether you believe in God or not, if you look closely at the painting you can interpret it in a wonderful lesson of life. Look at the bright part where the sunlight comes with disciples who are holding the boat in pure panic while on the other side Jesus sits calmly in the boat without letting panic take over his thoughts. What I have learned over the years is that when faced with difficult challenges, I turn off my emotions and let the logical part of my brain be present. It is not easy, but a necessary must sometimes. When something happens in life, especially when it comes to life and death, if you let your emotions control too much, that is when you will make mistakes. If you look at a firefighter, do you think they go into a fire without fear? They do not let their emotions control them and make decisions based on knowledge. A doctor and nurse in a life and death situation do not panic, they see it as a challenge and base their decisions on knowledge. I think a police officer or soldier are afraid of being shot and losing their life, they do it with the knowledge of the risk, they make their decisions with knowledge they learned and do not let emotions take over. Once the storm is over, it’s easy for emotions to overflow and you can let your thoughts come.

Never let your emotions take over and do the best you can with better judgment of the situation. If you do that, it’s easier to solve situations you didn’t think you could.

Conctrustion

The cigar was firm and evenly rolled with a oily feeling to it.

Wrapper: Undisclosed – Binder: Ecuador – Filler: Dominican, Ecuador and Nicaragua

Scent and cold draw

The wrapper of El Septimo Rembrandt had a scent of cacao while the filler had a scent of hay. The cold draw gave me flavors of chocolate.

1/2 Lets light up the El Septimo Rembrandt to see what it has to offer

When I lit El Septimo Rembrandt I was greeted with a creamy texture and dominant flavors of nutmeg, hay, chocolate and nuttiness. In the background were nuances of vanilla bean, floral and fir needles. The retrohalation tickled my nose slightly and gave nuances of hay.

2/2 The cigar showed a minor complexity

The texture was creamy as before and the flavors I felt were general nuttiness, dark chocolate with hints of cacao, coffee beans and a flavor that is best described as a mix of pine needles and spruce woodiness. In the background were nuances of nutmeg, vanilla bean and hay. The retrohalation became a little smoother and had nuances of hay.

Conclusion

El Septimo Rembrandt torpedo is a well-balanced cigar with less complexity. The cigar has good flavors and is perfect for days when you don’t want to put too much focus on the cigar to feel good flavors. The body, which is on medium, makes it suitable for most aficionados. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it is where it should be.
