Would I smoke the cigar again? Without doubt.
Conctrustion
I can’t say that I was the happiest person in the world when I went through the cigar. There was a large vein behind the wrapper that interfered and the cap was incredibly uneven. Usually a smaller vein is not a cause for concern, but this one was at the level that you almost knew from the beginning would cause a bit of trouble. I had to correct the cigar a few times, but despite that, I have to say that it was worth it and I will smoke several more of the cigars.
Wrapper: Ecuador – Binder: Nicaragua – Filler: Nicaragua
Taste
Smell and cold draw
The wrapper smelled a bit like farm and light fruitiness. When I mean farm farm, there was a lovely mix of hay, leather. A little hard to explain, but the smell was wonderful. The filler smelled of the same farm scent as the wrapper but without fruitiness. The cold draft gave me flavors that reminded me of a mixture of dark and light chocolate.
1/3 Let’s see what Gurkha Treinta 30th Anniversary Robusto has to offer
The cigar had a light texture that was a mix of buttery and creamy. There was a nuttiness and saltiness that made me think of salty peanuts. Shades of dark chocolate, cacao and a slight fruitiness appeared in the background that was reminiscent of dark berries. The rethrohaling was spicy and tickled my nose, the favor of a mixture of white pepper and cayenne pepper

2/3 the flabor party continues
As I got into the second third of the cigar, the texture changed a bit. The butteriness receded a bit and the creaminess became dominant. The fruitiness took up more space with its shades of dark berries. You could find flavors of cacao, espresso, the saltiness and nuttiness from before were still reminiscent of salty peanuts. There were shades of cedar wood and a taste reminiscent of stone oven baked bread towards the end. The rephthalation became a little smoother than before, which was good and reminded me of white pepper. It was now in the second third that I had to start correcting the cigar a bit. Even so, the cigar was worth every single correction thanks to the flavors.
3/3 of Gurkha Treinta 30th Anniversary Robusto cigar
The buttery texture was now completely gone and you just felt a lovely creaminess. The flavors that dominated now were fruitiness reminiscent of dark berries, cedar cacao, espresso and the sweetness of a light syrup. When I came towards the end of the cigar it changed a little and the fruitiness became sweeter and was now more the general fruitiness, the nuttiness from earlier that reminded me of salty peanuts now reminded me of walnuts instead. There were also shades that were reminiscent of light stone oven baked bread. The rethrohalation was smoother but still tickled my nose a little and reminded me of hickory.
After taste
The aftertaste was short and reminiscent of walnuts
Body
Full body
Smoke time
It took about 55 minutes to smoke Gurkha Treinta 30th Anniversary Robusto
Conclusion
A good complex cigar with flavors that go into each other. The body was on the lower part of the full almost medium body. If you compare price, vs quality and taste, you get a lot of cigar for your money. Despite the corrections I had to make, I think the cigar was cheap and I got more than I paid for.
