An almost unique look with the maduro and calaro wrapper. A work of art in itself.
Construction
The band around the cigar gave me a feeling of a cozy evening cigar when I held it in my hand. The cigar was firm with out any veins and had a slightly oily feeling to it.
Wrapper: Ecuador and Nicaragua(tip) – Binder: Nicaragua – Filler: Nicaragua
Scent and cold
The scent of the wrapper was a combination of fruitiness and hay while the filler had a scent of chocolate and coffee. The flavors of the cold draw was maltiness and hay.
Lets light up the Joya De Nicaragua Cabinetta Robusto
The cigar was not particularly complex and the flavors I felt at the beginning were the same until the end. Even though there was a different wrapper at the end, I didn’t feel much of a difference in flavors. The texture was smooth in a combination of creamy and buttery. The dominant flavors the cigar gave off were hay, grass, nuttiness and woodiness. In the background there were flavors of vanilla, sweet licorice, floral nuances and dried fruits. The retrohalation was smooth and gave nuances of hay.
After taste

Conclusion
Joya De Nicaragua Cabinetta Robusto does not have much complexity. The flavors I felt at the beginning were the same until the end. The body, which is on the mild side, makes it suitable for most aficionados. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it may be a little on the high side, but not by much.
