Construction
The feeling I got from the band was a bit of an everyday cigar.
Wrapper: Nicaragua – Binder: Nicaragua – Filler: Nicaragua
Scent and cold draw
Both the wrapper and the filler had a scent of hay and dark chocolate. The cold draft gave me flavors of chocolate and hay that worked a bit like an appetizer.
Lets light up the Joya De Nicaragua Red Robusto and see what it has to offer
The cigar was not particularly complex. The flavors I felt were the same from start to finish. What was a little annoying about the cigar was that when I got close to the middle it was like a plug expanded and the draw became incredibly tight. The texture was creamy and the dominant flavors I felt were Hay, Floral, nuttiness, General Spiciness, Earthy and Herbs. In the background there were flavors of anise and leather. The retrohalation tickled the nose slightly and gave nuances of General spiciness.

Conclusion
Joya De Nicaragua Red Robusto has a good balance of flavors. It is good for times when you don’t want a complex cigar. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it is a bit high in price.
