After I smoked the cigar for a while and removed the band around it, I saw the text behind it.

The cigar was made by founder Glen Case to honor two of his late friends. Rolando Villamil his friend and mentor, and Chuck Finch who was a close friend since high school. It’s not often you see more than web addresses on the back. Honoring someone in this way gives perspective on the meaning of the cigar and the energy put behind the blend.
Conctrustion
When I felt the construction of Kristoff Tres compadre, I felt that in the second third there was a soft part. A soft part I thought would cause the glow. Apart from the soft part, the cigar was perfect and had a slightly oily feel to it.
Wrapper: Nicaragua – Binder: Nicaragua – Filler: Nicaragua
Robusto: 5 x 50 ( Lenght 127mm – ring gauge19,84 mm)
Scent and cold draw
The aroma of the cigar was nothing unique but the cold draw gave a taste I’ve probably never tasted before in a cold draw. The aroma of the wrapper was floral and hay while the filler had a scent of chocolate and hay. The taste I felt when I puffed on the cigar before lighting was hay and surprisingly a faint hint of salty licorice. Salty licorice in a cigar usually occurs occasionally (when lit) but in the cold draft it was a pleasant surprise.
1/2 Lets light up the Kristoff Tres compadres cigar
After I had roasted Kristoff Tres compadres I was greeted by a creamy and extremely soft texture. A rich texture that was surprisingly smooth. The first and dominant flavors I felt were Hay, incredibly sweet woodiness that went towards cedar, milkiness and sweet almond-like nuttiness with a hint of roasted nuts. In the background of the cigar there were faint nuances of Salty licorice, coffee latte, earthiness, honey-like sweetness and vanilla bean. The retrohalation was incredibly smooth and gave off nuances of cedar wood.
2/2 Let’s enjoy the other half of the cigar
When I got into the second half of the Kristoff cigar, the texture changed a bit. The texture was not as soft as before. It became a little creamier and more robust to the touch. The smooth woodiness from before now became darker and reminded me of dark woodiness in the oak direction, espresso, earthiness, roasted nuts with a faint hint of pine nuts, hay, cacao, coffee beans and the honey-like sweetness that was previously in the background was now among the dominant flavors and balanced out all the woodiness, earthiness and espresso. In the background there were now flavors of raisins and general pepperiness. The retrohalation now tickled my nose slightly and the nuances I felt were a combination of wood and general pepperiness.

Conclusion
Kristoff Tres compadres robusto is a well-balanced cigar between the flavors. It is not particularly complex in form that the flavors change very much, however, it gives off so many flavors that it never gets boring. The cigar is quite soft and is suitable both for occasions when you do not want to put too much focus on the cigar and feel good flavors and for moments when you have the time and can enjoy a semi-complex cigar. The cigar is on medium, which makes it suitable for most aficionados. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it is where it should be.
