Conctrustion
When I started the cigar revencion of Aj Fernandez San Lotano Requiem Connecticut Robusto, I felt no veins or hard parts that would indicate that the cigar would burn unevenly. It had a slightly rougher oily feel.
Wrapper: Ecuador – Binder: Honduras – Filler: Nicaragua and Dominican
Smell and cold draw
The cigar hade a scent of hay and espresso while the cold draw gave me flavors of sweet citrus candy.
1/3 Lets light the AJ Fernandez San Lotano Requiem Connecticut Robusto cigar and see what it has to offer.
The first thing that came to my mind was the creamy texture which was incredibly nice. The flavors the Aj Fernandez San Lotano Requiem Connecticut Robusto cigar offered was ceder wood, fruitiness, citrus that went in the direction of citrus candy, breadiness and a nuttiness reminiscent of pisctachio nuts. The retrohalation tickled the nose a bit and gave nuances of white and black pepper.
2/3 the cigar shows a lighter complexity
As I entered the second third of the AJ Fernandez San Lotano Requiem Connecticut Robusto cigar review, it showed a lighter complexity. The texture became a little creamier. The flavors that were present were, hay, The fruity taste from earlier took a little more space and became sweeter and the nuttiness was reminiscent of a mixture of salted pistachio nuts and salted almonds. In the background there was a sourness reminiscent of citrus candy and salty sweet licorice. The retrohalation of the cigar became smoother and produced a flavor blend of white pepper, black pepper and hay.
3/3 of AJ Fernandez San Lotano Requiem Connecticut Robusto cigar review showed interesting flavors.
As I entered the third third of the cigar, I wasn’t quite prepared for how the fruitiness would unfold. It was incredibly interesting. The texture was as creamy as before and showed no change. The flavors that the AJ Fernandez San Lotano Requiem Connecticut Robusto cigar provided were sweet licorice, hay, strange as it sounds, it is easiest to describe as two different shades of fruitiness, the first fruitiness was reminiscent of pear and the other went towards raspberry and the nuttiness from earlier went in the direction of roasted salted almonds. In the background there were shades reminiscent of vanilla flora, leather, cedar and coffee latte. As I got to the end of the cigar, a breadiness came in reminiscent of wood oven baked bread. The retrohale was smooth and gave flavors of white pepper and hay.
After taste
The cigar gave a after taste of hay and walenuts
Body
The body of the cigar was medium bordering to mild
Smoke time
55 minutes
Conclusion
The AJ Fernandez San Lotano Requiem Connecticut Robusto cigar has a good balance with almost unique flavors in the last third. It was lightly smoked with a body that suits most people from beginners to slightly more experienced aficionados. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it is where it should be, possibly a little under priced but not much.
