Construction
When I started the Leonel Rare robusto cigar review i felt there was a slightly harder part at the top and a softer part towards the base of the cigar. The hard part worried me a little that the cigar would be plugged or that the draw would be too thight. Luckily it was at a level that a little fiddling with a toothpick would save it. When I cut the cigar it turned out to be a larger twig and I managed to pull it out with less effort. The wrapper had a lighter oily feeling.
Wrapper: Nicaragua – Binder: Nicaragua – Filler: Nicaragua
Smell and cold draw
The cigar did not have a noticeable scent that stood out in particular, the shade I felt was a lighter scent of hay. The cold draw of the cigar gave a fresh fruitiness to my taste buds.
1/1 Lets se what the Leonel Rare robusto cigar has to offer
The cigar was not particularly complex and the flavors were the same from start to finish. It all started with a lighter creamy texture. The flavors it offered were hay, general sweetness, a lot of saltiness, fresh spices, peach skin, breadiness, nuttiness and a lot of tartness. In the background you feel the classic sweet tobacco taste. The retrohalation tickled a bit and gave shades of white pepper.
After taste
Walenuts and classic tobbaco
Body
The cigar had a Full body bordering on medium
Smoke time
55 minutes
Conclusion
A good cigar that is not particularly complex. The fact that it is not complex makes it suitable for moments when you can not put all your focus on the cigar. A good cigar that is not particularly complex. The fact that it is not complex makes it suitable for moments when you can not put all your focus on the cigar. The body makes it suitable for the slightly more experienced aficionados. If I compare price vs. quality vs. taste, I feel that it is a little on the high side, but not by much.
