Construction
I don’t know why, whether it was the name or the overall impression of the cigar, but I got a feeling of a time-honored Blend that has provided a gourmet experience generation after generation. The cigar was firm without any veins and had a slightly oily feel to it.
Wrapper: Honduras – Binder: Honduras – Filler: Honduras
Scent and cold draw
The wrapper of the cigar had a scent of hay and nuttiness while the filler smelled of hay and light sweetness. The cold draw gave me flavors of Chocolate, nuttiness and light fruitiness in the background.
Lets light up the Aladino Vintage rothschild to see what it has to offer
Aladino Vintage was not a particularly complex cigar and the flavors I felt at the beginning were the same until the end. The texture was creamy and the dominant flavors I felt were a nuttiness that went towards hazelnut, general florality, hay, cedar and herbs. In the background there were flavors of general acidity, ground coffee beans and a fruity sweetness. The retrohalation tickled the nose slightly and gave nuances of red pepper.
After taste
The aftertaste was really pleasant and gave a taste of nuttiness with a hint of chocolate.
Body
Medium bordering on mild
Smoke time
30 Minutes
Conclusion
Aladino Vintage Rothschild is a well balanced cigar with a medium to mild body that will suit most aficionados. The flavors are prominent and the cigar is well suited as a luxurious everyday cigar. If I compare price vs taste vs quality I think it is cheap compared to what you get.
