Construction
There were no flaws in the cigar, It was firm and nice without any major veins with a slightly oily feel.
Wrapper: Mexico – Binder: Mexico – Filler: Mexico and Nicaragua
Smell and cold draw
The scent on the cover was quite interesting and hard to put into words. You could say that the wrapper on the cigar had a scent combination of nuttiness, fruitiness and hay. The filler had the classic farmyard smell. One part I found incredibly interesting was the cold draft. The flavor it offered was poppy seeds and citrus peel. Citrus peel was not unique, but poppy seeds in particular are not often felt in the cold draft.
1/3 Lets light the Casa turrent caribe robusto cigar
After toasting the Casa turrent caribe robusto cigar, I was first greeted by a creamy texture. The flavors offered by the first third were a tartness reminiscent of a combination of lemon and orange, general sweetness, poppy, general woodiness and cedar. In the background was a floral shade. The retrohalation tickled a bit and gave nuances of black pepper and cayenne pepper.
2/3 The cigar shows complexity
The texture the second part of the Caca turrent caribe robusto cigar was creamy as in the first third. The flavors the cigar provided me with were hay, dark chocolate, a shocking amount of citrus reminiscent of a mix of lime and lemon and a smoky nut mix. In the background there where flavors of woodiness and saltiness. The rethrohale gave shades of citrus and black pepper.
3/3
The texture in the last third of the cigar was the same as before. The flavors it provided were poppy seed, espresso, salty, nut mix and hay. In the background there was a general floral, leather and citrus. The retrohalation produced flavors of hay and black pepper.
After taste
The aftertaste of the Casa turrent caribe robusto cigar was slightly bitter with flavors of walnuts and a lighter shade of hay.
Body
Medium bordering on full
Smoke time
65 minutes
Conclusion
A complex and pleasant cigar with lots of citrus nuances. The body of the Casa turrent caribe robusto cigar makes it suitable for the slightly more experienced aficionados. If I compare price vs. quality vs. taste, I think you get quite a lot of cigar for the money.
