No American city smokes the way Miami does. The rolling tables of Calle Ocho, the members’ rooms off Brickell, the strip mall lounges out in Kendall where the dominoes start at four — this is a city with more places to smoke than most countries, spread across neighbourhoods that barely resemble each other.

Little Havana
Twelve of the city’s cigar businesses sit on or just off Calle Ocho, several within a block of each other. Street parking is difficult after six — the municipal lot on SW 15th Avenue is the easier option.
