The small cigar with the long smoke time. I was a little shocked by the cigar and the time I got with it. It smoked incredibly slowly without going out and affecting the taste.
Construction
The band around the cigar gave me a feeling of luxury. Like opening a gift you received. The cigar was tightly and evenly rolled and the wrapper had a slightly silky, oily feel to it.
Wrapper: Ecuador – Binder: Dominican – Filler: Dominican and Nicaragua

Smell and cold draw
The scents I smelled were chocolate and fruity on the wrapper while the filler smelled fruity and nutty. Cold draft was incredibly interesting and would have been good as a teaser a while before. The flavors were hard to explain and are best described as a combination of Milkiness, Florality and chocolate.
Lets light up the PDR A. Flores 1975 Gran Reserva Desflorado half corona
The cigar was an incredible taste experience, it gave much more than I had expected. The texture was creamy and the dominant flavors I felt were Citrus, Floral, Nutty and Combination of Grass and Hay. In the background there were shades of vanilla-like sweetness in combination with brown sugar and coffee. Retrohalation was smooth and gave shades of Floral and Spicy. The small cigar smoked incredibly slowly, slower than usual without it going out.
After taste
The aftertaste was good and rounded off the cigar nicely. The flavors I felt were a combination of walnuts, espresso and hay.
Body
Mild bordering on medium
Smoke time
The time I got with the cigar shocked me. I had expected around 20-30 minutes but got 45 minutes. The cigar smoked unusually slowly, without it going out and affecting the taste.
Conclusion
PDR A. Flores 1975 Gran Reserva short corona is a cigar that has well-balanced flavors with citrus that stands out a little extra. The body that is on the mild side makes it suitable for most Aficionados. The cigar can be smoked incredibly slowly without it going out and affecting the taste. You get a long smoke time considering the size. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it is cheap and I could imagine paying more for it.
