Construction
The wrapper had a lighter oiliness to it. There was a lighter vein behind the wrapper that worried me a little at first. But it turned out that the cigar glowed perfectly straight from start to finish.
Wrapper: Ecuador – Binder: Cameroon – Filler: Nicaragua
Smell and cold draw
The wrapper of the Roma Craft Aquitaine Knuckle Dragger Short Robusto cigar had a scent of dark chocolate while the filler had a scent combination of dark chocolate and vanilla. The cold draft gave flavors of hay.
Lets light up the Roma Craft Aquitaine Knuckle Dragger Short Robusto
After I had roasted The wrapper of the Roma Craft Aquitaine Knuckle Dragger Short Robusto cigar, a buttery texture met my taste buds. The flavors I felt in the cigar were dark chocolate/cocoa, hay, general woodiness, pepperiness, fruitiness, saltiness, roasted almonds and nutmeg. In the background were shades of vanilla and the classic sweet tobacco taste. The inhalation was dry and gave a flavor combination of hay, white pepper and black pepper. The draw of the cigar was a little tighter than I would have preferred.
After taste
The aftertaste of the Roma Craft Aquitaine Knuckle Dragger Short Robusto cigar was the classic tobacco taste.
Body
Medium bordering on full
Smoke time
50 minutes
Conclusion
Roma Craft Aquitaine Knuckle Dragger Short Robusto is a complex cigar with many flavors. The body, which was almost full, suits the slightly more experienced aficionado. If I compare price vs. taste vs. quality, I think it is where it should be, maybe a little high given how the draw in the cigar was.
