A perfect cigar for those who like a little more earthy and robust flavors.
Construction
I don’t know why but the feeling I got when I held the cigar was a chili pepper like feeling. Like when you’re in the store and you almost feel the heat of the fruit before you’ve even cooked it. The cigar was firm and evenly rolled without any veins. There was a silky oiliness that wrapped around the cigar.
Wrapper: Dominican – Binder: Dominican – Filler: Dominican and Nicaragua
Scent and cold draw
The wrapper of the PDR A. Flores 1975 Gran Reserva Corojo Robusto had a scent of fruitiness and general sweetness while the filler had a floral scent. The cold draw gave me flavors of oats, nuttiness and fruitiness.
