The cigar was not particularly complex but had prominent flavors and was lightly smoked.
Construction
The feeling that i got when i held the cigar was as it was made to be a everyday cigar. A cigar that lay in the humidor to be enjoyed on a walk or a sunny afternoon in the backyard. The cigar was firmly rolled and had a rougher oiliness to it.
Wrapper: Ecuador – Binder: Mexican – Filler: Dominican and Nicaragua
Scent and cold draw
The wrapper had a wonderful scent of hay and a slightly chocolatey nuance while the filler had a scent of hay, nuttiness and chocolate. The cold draw was relaxing with flavors of nuttiness, hay and slightly maltiness.
1/2 Lets light up the PDR El Criollito A. Flores Rosado Robusto
It wasn’t particularly thick. The texture was slightly creamy, bordering on non-existent. The dominant flavors I felt were hay mixed with grass, nuttiness and woodiness with a slight hint of cedar. In the background were flavors of spice, coffee, florality, honey-like sweetness and cinnamon. The retrohalation tickled the nose a little and gave nuances of hay and cayenne pepper.
2/2 The cigar showed a minor complexity
As I entered the second part of the PDR El Criollito A. Flores Rosado Robusto cigar, it showed a lighter complexity. The texture became creamier and the flavors I felt were sweet floral nuances, cedar, a nuttiness reminiscent of a combination of pistachio nuts and macademia nuts, caramel syrup-like sweetness, hay and leather. In the backround there were flavors of saltiness, coffee latte and spiciness. The retrohalation was smooth and gave nuances of woodiness and cayenne pepper.

Conclusion
The PDR El Criollito A. Flores Rosado Robusto cigar is a cigar that is good for days when you don’t want to focus too much on the cigar and more on the surroundings. It is not particularly complex. The flavors are well balanced. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it is where it should be, maybe a little underpriced.
