The cigar had an incredibly lovely balance and was almost unique on the retrohale.
Construction
The cigar was incredibly firm and evenly rolled. The only thing was a larger vein at the top of the cigar. I didn’t think the vein would affect the cigar much except towards the end of the second half. The wrapper was incredibly oily, oilier than I’ve experienced with many other cigars.
Wrapper: Ecuador – Binder: Nicaragua – Filler: Nicaragua
Smell and cold draw
The wrapper smelled lightly of hay and vanilla, while the filler had a lovely scent that I can’t describe in any other way than a mixture of Chamomile tea, hay, florals and chocolate. When I took a few cold drafts, I felt a taste that was almost unique, a combination of oatmeal and Chamomille tea.
1/2 Lets light up the Tatuaje Rc No 1 robusto
The cigar was incredibly smooth and had a creamy texture. The dominant flavors I felt were a sweet buttery nuttiness that went in the direction of almonds, sweet fruitiness with a hint of pear and hay. In the background were flavors of chocolate, saltiness reminiscent of sea salt and herbs. The retrohalation was smooth and offered nuances of nuttiness and a raisin-like sweetness.
2/2 Let’s enjoy the other half of the cigar
The texture was as smooth and creamy as before. The cigar brought a lighter pleasant complexity. The flavors I felt were chocolate reminiscent of a combination of dark chocolate and nougat, salty licorice, nuttiness that went in the direction of almonds and a leafing of hay and herbs. In the background there were flavors of cinnamon, macadamia nuts, dates and vanilla bean. The retrohalation was smooth and gave nuances of hay and raisins.
After taste
Walenuts and dark chocolate.

Medium
Smoke time
Tatuaje Rc No 1 Robusto cigars shocked me a bit. Even though it was a robusto, I got about 85 minutes of smoke time. It could be smoked incredibly slowly without it starting to go out.
Conclusion
The cigar was incredibly smooth and had a good balance of flavors. It was not particularly complex, but it was lightly smoked. It gave a long smoke time considering the format, I could smoke it incredibly slowly. The medium body made it suitable for most aficionados. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it is where it should be.
