Cigar review of Cavalier Genève White Series elegantes
It felt a little special to hold the cigar. The gold on the center of the cigar made me wonder if there were golden flavors to come when i lit the Cavalier Genève White Series elegantes.
Construction
The gold in the center of the cigar raised a curiosity, a unique detail that I hoped would reveal that the flavors would add a golden edge to the moment with the cigar. My curiosity about whether the gold leaf would remain and dress the cigar pillar was incredible. To dress a cigar pillar just that is unique in its own way.The cigar was firm and evenly rolled without any major veins. The wrapper had a half rough oiliness.
Wrapper: Habano – Binder: Honduras – Filler: Dominican, Nicaragua and Paraguay
Taste
Smell and cold draw
I brought the cigar to my nose and smelled a lovely aroma from the wrapper, the wrapper smelled like a mix of vanilla and hay, the filler smelled like hay. The cold draw gave shades of hay and sweetness.
1/3 Lets light the cigar see what it has to offer
I slowly roasted the cigar in the usual order with curiosity as to what the cigar would offer. There was no particular texture, the only thing I felt was a slight oiliness. The cigar quickly showed that it had a mild body and was easy to smoke. The flavors I felt were spiciness, cedar, light leather, nuttiness, earthiness, some nuance that was slightly reminiscent of nutmeg, Lighter raisin like sweetness. In the background there was a lighter taste of nougat chocolate.
Retrohalation tickled the nose and gave nuances of black pepper.
2/3 The Cavalier Genève White Series elegantes cigar shows a lighter complexity
As I entered the second third of the Cavalier Genève White Series elegantes cigar, it showed a lighter complexity that elevated the moment. The texture had a slightly buttery feel and the flavors it gave were general woodiness, the nuttiness coming through more, leather and cacao. In the background I could feel a raisin-like sweetness like before and nougat chocolate. The retrohale became smoother and gave nuances of black pepper and cedar.
3/3 The cigar ended in an incredibly good way.
At first I wondered if the gold would cover the ash pillar of the cigar after I smoked past it. This unique detail, I must admit, elevated the whole feeling and showed that everything really was more than a cigar, it was a craft and a work of art. The texture became a bit drier but still had a lighter buttery texture. The flavors Cavalier Genève White Series elegantes cigar gave in the last part were dark chocolate, woodiness, raisin-like flavor came out more and was one of the dominant flavors, nuttiness, espresso and in the background there was a hint of leather. When I got to the end just before it was time to put the cigar down, there was a final lighter taste change, there were nuances of breadiness and hay that rounded off the moment. The retrohalation was smooth and gave woody nuances.

After taste
The aftertaste was short and gave nuances of general nuttiness and walnuts at the same time.
Body
Mild bordering on medium
Smoke time
50 minutes
Conclusion
The Cavalier Genève White Series elegantes was a lightly smoked cigar with lighter complexity. The flavors were smooth. The body, which was mild on the border of medium, made it suitable for most aficionados. If I compare price vs. quality vs. taste, I think you get a lot of cigar for the money.
