Visiting the living room cigar lounge wasn’t like Visiting your typical cigar lounge, you know the one that almost feel like entering a forest fire with worn out leather armchairs, two ashtray on the table with ash lying on the floor from the evening before, neither was it like Visiting the high end place where you almost don’t dare to visit with out a suit and a ultra premium cigar in your hand.
To be honest I never understood why they choose the name the living room before Visiting the lounge for the first time and feelt the atmosphere.
There were two seating arrangements. Even though both had the same style something about them conveyed two completely different feelings.
The first seating arrangements of the living room cigar lounge was arranged with leather armchairs gathered around a large dark hardwood coffee table, its warm tones grounded by a bright parquet floor and a light-colored carpet that gave the space an almost domestic warmth. On the wall, a TV played slow drone footage of a city drifting past, and beside it, a door led quietly into a small kitchen. At the center of the room stood a grand China cabinet dressed with cigar boxes, a small humidor, wine glasses, a decanter, and two bottles of wine. Paintings hung across the walls with a casual confidence, adding color and character without effort. Every detail worked together to dissolve the formality you might expect — this felt less like a cigar lounge and more like an evening at a friend’s apartment.

The whole thing gave the feeling of entering a two rooms apartment. Cozy yet elegant.
The second setting area in the living room cigar lounge had the same structure but instead of arm chairs there were two big sofas facing each other, no carper and the tv belonged the other sitting area. Next to the sofas was the china cabinet. Some how the feeling it got was reminiscent of the feeling you get entering a hotel lounge on a quiet evening. No TV to steel your focus, no distracting noise, no stress. You could be one with the moment.
The Air purification system in the cigar lounge was a little out of the extra ordinary. There were tre air purifiers spread around our sitting area and one air exhaust in the ceiling making shore the room almost didn’t have any smoke staying in the room and keeping the environment fresh. You could say The air purification system was put to the test that evening, with 10 lit cigars at once the room still had pretty fresh air and almost no smoke surrounding us.
Toilet facilities. This might seem strange to you, but i believe in a good lounge these facilities are almost as important as the atmosphere in the lounge. Imagine smoking a 35 dollar El Septimo, putting the cigar to rest while going to the bathroom and wiping your hands in a dirty towel, you most likely don’t want to grab that cigar with your hands again and probably start thinking about leaving for a nother place. The bathroom facilities in the living room cigar lounge was almost bigger then most people have in their homes, the cleanliness with all honesty was better then many 4 star hotels i have visited. Its not only a bathroom, its hospitality in its best.
The evening
I have head a standing invitation to visit the living room cigar lounge since January, but unfortunately my schedule has been full sadly. Finaly my schedule was clear and i was eager to know more the place. The evening was supposed to start around 7-7:30 pm but as away i was 20 minutes early. Greetings me at the door was no other then Andreas and Kristoffer that also happens to be two of the three founders of Swecigars. With us that evening was seven of their friends. This evening showed the classic magic of cigars. Through all my living years the only place I have seen people from all different work classes, different options regarding politics, in some cases view of life with out any beeing enjoyed or angry, is the moments created thanks to the interest of cigars.
The environment created a feeling not beeing in a cigae lounge, but in a living room surrounded by old times friends even though you never meet the people before.
I can’t imagine the hospitality showed by Kristoffer and Andreas to every participant beeing nothing else but something that came natural to them.
Imagine a place that feels like home but that isn’t, then you get the feeling of visiting the living room cigar lounge.
