La galeria Connecticut half corona cigar
Conctruction ot the cigar
As I held the small cigar, I was a little shocked. Although the seams were tight and the cape was perfect, the tobacco was a little unevenly distributed. There were some softer parts and in the moment I began to expect the cigar to burn unevenly or go out quickly. I was pleasantly surprised when I did smoke the cigar. It didn’t go out and gave me a nice short time 🙂
Taste of the cigar
Both the smell of the cigar and the cold draft reminded me of sweet hay which filled me with happy expectations of how it will taste.
Once I lit the cigar, I didn’t expect much complexity given the size. The flavors I felt in the cigar were the same from start to finish. The expectations I had for the cigar were wrong. I thought the cigar would go out and give a bitterness thanks to the fact that I would have to light it several times. I never had to re-light it and the flavors were pleasing. The flavors the cigar offered were light dark oak with a slight vanilla sugar similar sweetness in the background and light touch of flora flavors. The rehtrohaling offered flavor nuances of black pepper and cayenne pepper
Aftertaste
The aftertaste was long with flavors of walnut and a dry texture.
Smoke time
Despite the small size of the cigar, I had a nice time of about 30 minutes.
What I liked about the cigar was the size and that it wasn’t too complex when you’re going for walks or when you’re in a company where there aren’t many people smoking cigars. Would I smoke the cigar again? Probably on a walking 🙂
