The cigar had an almost unique fruitiness that was the dominant flavor. Absolutely incredible experience.
Construction
The cigar was evenly rolled and had a thicker oily feel to it.
Wrapper: Costa Rica – Binder: Costa Rica – Filler: Costa Rica
Smell and cold draw
The wrapper had almost no scent while the filler had a lighter scent of hay. The cold draft gave me nuances of milkiness and oats.
Lets light up the Vegas de Santiago red Label perla cigar to see what it has to offer
When I lit the Vegas de Santiago red Label perla cigar, I was almost unprepared for the unique experience I got in the fruitiness. The texture was creamy and the dominant flavors I felt were Hay, nuttiness, incredibly unique fruitiness that is hard to explain and sweet woodiness. The fruitiness was incredibly sweet and the easiest way to explain it is that it was a combination of dark berries, exotic fruits and classic fruit salad. In the background were shades of dates, raisins, sweet citrus candy and anise. The retrohale was smooth and gave nuances of woodiness and white pepper.
After taste
Walnuts
Body
Medium bordering on mild
Smoke time
30 minutes
Conclusion
A good cigar down almost unique taste. The body, which is medium on the border of mild, suits both beginners and more experienced aficionados. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it is where it should be, possibly a little under priced.
