Construction
The cigar was a little unevenly rolled and was soft in some places. The wrapper had a matte feel.
Wrapper: Camaroon – Binder: Dominican – Filler: Dominican
Smell and cold draw
The cigar had a scent of hay and nuttiness. The cold draft gave flavors nuances of oatmeal and hay.
Lets light up the La Galeria Jade chiquito cigar to see what it has to offer
The text was slightly creamy and at the same time dry. The dominant flavors I felt were Fresh herbs, hay, oak, earthiness, nuttiness, licorice, general spiciness and leather. In the background there were shades of brown sugar-like sweetness, oats, dark chocolate, espresso, citrus peel. The retrohale tickled to light and gave nuances of cayenne pepper. The cigar could be smoked incredibly slowly.
After taste
The aftertaste was incredibly interesting, it tasted like walnuts and a taste I don’t know how to describe other than banana peel. Incredibly difficult to describe the taste but good and interesting.
Body
Medium bordering on full
Smoke time
40 minutes
Conclusion
The La Galeria Jade chiquito cigar is balanced between the flavors. The flavors you feel at the beginning are the same from start to finish. The body, which is medium on the border of full, makes it suitable for the slightly more experienced aficionado. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it was where it should be, even though the construction was uneven and the glow line had to be corrected a few times with a lighter.
