As my birthday arived my plan was to wake up and enjoy a cozy breakfast with my wife and children and have dinner with the rest of my familj. My fameily had other plans for me and surprised me with waking me up singing happy birthday carrying a lemon muffin witch had a candle and a cup of coffee on the side. They head wrapped two lovely packiges one that with Davidoff cigars and one that carried a Cigar caddy. My wife knew that my loyal companion the travel humidor, a companion I always have with me at all times, had broken and Davidoff is one of my favorit brands.

As the day continued us waiting for our familys to arive for dinner i treated my self to a Davidoff Escurio Petit Robusto in the middle of the burning heat of the sun. It was 25 degrees but felt almost like 30.
Its not only a celibration, its magic.
The guests arrived and out of nowhere we were 20 people in the immediate family from my wife’s and my side. My wife had planned everything and even though I knew about the plans, it came as a shock. It is not often that everyone in both families has time to gather at the same time. Getting a family reunion on your birthday is more than you could wish for. Not only that, the buffet they had all made together in their homes was incredible. One person brought chees cake, the other cake, a classic Balkan soup, pulled chicken and prime rib stew that had been cooked for several hours, salad and 3 different types of bread. The time they had spent made me a little sentimental. What made my heart feel more sentimental was the soup. All food in honor, but the soup was made for a completely different reason by my mother-in-law and my wife than for the birthday only. My mother had recently undergone major surgery on her colon and is not allowed to eat regular fried food for several weeks. Making that extra effort is not just kindness, it is an act from the heart. You can wish for a lot in life, but a family like I have is a gift that cannot be replaced by anything.I had everything in my life that matters. My wife, children, the puppy and all the relatives. Absolutely magical.
What more could i wish for? To be honest nothing.

The Aroma de Nicaragua Ecuador Robusto is a medium-bodied Nicaraguan that delivers far more smoke time than its size suggests.
