Construction
The little cigar was tightly rolled without any veins. The wrapper had a matte feel.
Wrapper: Mexico – Binder: Mexico – Filler: Mexico
Taste
Smell and cold draw
I brought the small cigar to my nose and smelled the smell of hay coming from the wrapper. The filler had a similar scent that reminded me of the scent of the Gordito cigar in the same series (you can read our review of the Casa Turrent rosado Gordito cigar here), the scent reminded me of citrus candy. The cold draft was incredibly nice and reminded me of a lovely citrus lemonade.
Taste of Casa turrent rosado coronita cigar lit
The small cigar had a lighter creamy texture with hints of butteriness. The flavors the cigar delivered were hay, floral flavors, dark chocolate, fresh spices. In the background there were shades of citrus that went in the direction of orange peel and earthiness. The retrohalation really tickled the nose and gave nuances of white pepper.
After taste
The aftertaste was dry and gave nuances of walnuts and a lighter shade of orange peel
Body
The body was medium bordering on mild
Smoke time
25 minutes
Conclusion
The cigar is suitable when you have a few short moments to spare. The body that was on medium almost mild suits them most aficionados. If I compare price vs. quality vs. taste, I think it is where it should be.
