Construction
When I held the cigar it felt powerful. The wrapper had a perfect oiliness and there were no soft uneven parts. The cigar was firm and nice. You could feel that the cigar was of the highest quality, a premium cigar.
The band that wrapped around the cigar gave the feeling that it was taken from someone’s private humidor with a private secret blend fine tuned for special moments.
Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf – Binder: Mata fina Brazilian – Filler: Honduras and Nicaragua
Taste
I brought the Drew estate liga Privada No9 robusto to my nose and was a little surprised. I had expected slightly darker scents such as dark chocolate, hay and the classic farmyard scent, instead my sense of smell was met by a sweet fruitiness mixed with oak.I cut the cigar and took a few puffs before roasting. I got a lovely taste of sweet hay.
1/3 of Drew estate liga Privada No9. Lets see what it has to offer.
The cigar started at full speed and you could quickly tell that it was a full bodied cigar. The creamy texture brought a woody flavor that is most easily described as oak, dark chocolate, the general flora flavor and in the background you could find hints of slightly sweet citrus peel. In between the puffs there was a nice taste of dark chocolate that lingered. The retrohalation tickled a little in the nose even though it was surprisingly smooth and reminded one of hickory and black pepper.
2/3 The joy continues
The flavors changed a little slowly and the enjoyment of the cigar was heightened. the creaminess increased a bit and became thicker. The flavors on offer were dark chocolate, floral. The floral taste had become a little darker and reminded a little of the scent of the tulip but without the sweetness. There was also flavors of espresso, light citrus peel, dark oak and in the background there was a flavor that made me think of milk chocolate.

3/3 A god and balanced ending to the Drew Estate Liga Privada No9.
The cigar finished in a good and well-balanced way. The texture was creamy and thick. In danced the flavors of a maltiness, oak, a mixture of dark and light chocolate and a taste I was not prepared for thanks to the flavors before. The taste that shocked me was that there was a slight sweet fruitiness in the background. When I got to the end of the cigar, almost right before it was time to put it down, there was a light taste that reminded me of the edge of Stone Oven baked bread.
After taste
The aftertaste didn’t last long and tasted of dark chocolate and walnuts with a semi-dry texture.
