The little cigar was in my humidor and I couldn’t stop thinking about the shortening of the cigar’s name. My uzi weighs a ton. Pretty cool name for a cigar.
Conctruction
The cover sheet was matte and the cigar almost perfectly rolled. I found a few smal veins but nothing i thought would make the glow line uneven.
Wrapper: San Andrés Maduro Mexico
Binder: Connecticut Broadleaf Ecuador
Filler: Brazil and Nicaragua
Taste
I took a few puffs on the cigar before lighting it and felt notes of oak.
When I lit the cigar, it all started with a creamy texture at the puffs that left a semi-dry feeling in the mouth between puffs. the flavors that followed were dark roasted coffee and a pepperiness that was a mix of white and black pepper. When I had smoked half the cigar, oak also came into the background and joined the other flavors. The cigar was not complex which is hard to expect from a cigar of this size. However, the flavors were more prominent and had a good balance between them.
Aftertaste
The aftertaste on the Drew Estate MUWAT Bait Fish cigar was dark oak with a slightly dry texture.
Smoke time
I sat for about 30 minutes.
I liked the Drew Estate MUWAT Bait Fish cigar above all because the flavors were definite and it didn’t even need full attention to feel them.
