The feelings I got from the band were mixed. I got a feeling of royalty but at the same time down to earth feeling. After a short search it turned out that Allegiance means loyalty and commitment. Words that I find valuable and made me want to keep a cigar in my humidor all the time.
The cigar was firm and evenly rolled with a lighter oily feel to it.

Wrapper: Ecuador – Binder: Nicaragua – Filler Nicaragua

Smell and cold draw

The wrapper had a lighter scent of hay and general sweetness while the binder smelled lightly of chocolate, hay and brown sugar. The cold draw gave me flavors of chocolate, light floral and light general sweetness.

1/3 Let’s light up the EP Carrillo allegiance confidant cigar to see what it has to offer.

After I lit the EP Carrillo allegiance confidant cigar I was greeted by a wonderfully creamy texture. The dominant flavors the cigar gave were floral, a nuttiness reminiscent of a mix of pistachio, cashew and sweet almond nuts, ground coffee beans and cacao. In the background there were flavors of fruitiness, raisins, brown sugar like sweetness and spiciness. The retrohalation was smooth and gave shades of hay. The cigar was incredibly smooth to smoke.

2/3 Let’s see what the second third of the cigar has to offer

The texture was, as before, creamy and pleasant. The flavors I felt were fruity, cacao, woody in the spruce direction, floral and a nuttiness reminiscent of a combination of hazelnuts and almonds. In the background were shades of sour citrus candy, brown sugar, spiciness and raisins. The retrohalation tickled slightly and gave hints of white pepper.

3/3 Let’s see how the EP Carrillo allegiance confidant cigar ends

When I got into the last third of the EP Carrillo Allegance confidant the cigar gave off an incredible amount of flavor. The texture grew and became creamier than before. The flavors I felt were floral, woodiness with a lighter shade of spruce, nuttiness, leather and espresso. In the background there was a taste that shocked me and I incredibly rarely feel. The flavor that surprised was coconut and was incredibly nice. In addition to the coconut flavor, there were shades of vanilla cream, nougat chocolate, fruitiness and earthiness. The retrohale was smooth and gave nuances of white pepper and cedar wood.

Conclusion

EP Carrillo Allegance confidant is a cigar with good balance except in the last third. In the last third, it delivers some flavors that stand out and give an incredibly lovely dynamic. The body, which is at medium on the border of full, suits even the slightly more inexperienced aficionado, even though the body is almost at full. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think you get a lot of cigar for the money.
