2024 was a magical year. Incredibly delicious cigars smoked, new friends and many wise words learned.
During this year’s journey, one of the most important questions has been how to follow your dreams. Here are some wise words I received, words i hope will help you follow your dreams. Its never to late.
One of my biggest fears is looking back at my life and regnet i never did.
Sebastien Decoppet from Cavalier Genève

1. The dream must have a strong meaning for you and be like a goal in life you can’t stop thinking about. Then you know it’s a dream worth following.
2. If the dream is so big that you feel it is worth going through painful periods, then it is a dream worth following.
3. You should never care about what others say and think. Those who are negative and do not support you are those who themselves do not dare. Those who have followed their dreams at some point will support you and give you positive criticism. They know that there will be tough times, but that the reward is much greater when you reach your goal.
Vincent from Vicente blends

“– Following your dreams can have many meanings and consequences. First, you need to understand your dreams and feel if they are worth following. Following your dreams means that you sometimes have to make sacrifices in your regular life. Are your dreams worth making sacrifices for? What sacrifices are you prepared to make? These things are never spoken about and I believe just to try and follow your dreams, seems a bit naive without planning.
– When you reach your dreams, what happens next? Some people crash when they reach their goals and feel they have achieved what they want. Have a plan or new dreams to follow ready.
– Life should have a meaning. – Once you have decided to follow your dream, it is good to write them down so that they are visible. Do it in baby steps and have patience and tolerance. If it is only in your head, it is easy to put it aside. You are reminded your dreams if they are visible. Having them written down provides focus.
– Write down goals and sub-goals. Be realistic, it’s easy to give up if it gets too hard. Entrepreneurs, like me, are prepared to sacrifice everything. What are you willing to sacrifice. Are they worth sacrifices to follow?“

My best tip for those who want to follow their dreams is to have a clear and compelling vision that drives you. Stay committed to your goals, embrace the challenges, and surround yourself with a supportive network. It’s important to remain adaptable and resilient, as these qualities will help you navigate the obstacles along the way.

Many people around us have a dream of starting their own business, but these are usually dreams that never come true. We are often told I will finish the logo then I will start my company or I don’t have the time or the knowledge. A year later, they are still working on the logo. A dream is not a sign on the facade of a house, we are not born with knowledge and time is just an excuse. We think it’s about the dream not being strong enough or that it’s due to the fear of failure. We strongly believe that if you desire to achieve a dream enough that the desire to learn will come automatically. Blaming time is just an excuse, if you want to reach a goal you have to sacrifice other things that you do, such as removing some time from your social media or taking time from your free time when you are not working in the beginning. We believe more that it is the fear of failure that is the biggest obstacle. That’s probably the part you have to work on the most. Once you get over that hurdle, all the other parts will fall into place more easily. If you don’t fail sometimes, then you have no insight into what you have to learn to succeed.

– To follow your dreams, you have to be a little naive and not think about all the obstacles that can come along the way. There will be obstacles and you have to be prepared to find solutions.
– Failing is not a disaster, most people are afraid of what others will think of them, while the only thing that matters is your own thoughts about yourself. Will you be happy with yourself if you don’t at least try to achieve your dreams? The worst that can happen is that you lose your investment and have to go back to a regular job again. But then you are one experience closer to your goal with more learning within you and can follow the dream again with more knowledge and better conditions to succeed. If you settle for not following your dreams, you will always remain in the same place, but if you follow your dreams, your possibilities are endless both in development as a person, lifestyle and financially (depending on what one’s dreams are), you shape your own life according to how you want it to be.
