Construction
The band around it gave me a relaxed everyday feel, like it was made for a sunny evening before going to bed. The cigar was incredibly firm and evenly rolled with a slightly oily feel to it.
Wrapper: Brazil – Binder: Dominican – Filler: Nicaragua
Scent and cold draw
The wrapper of Gurkha Evil had a smell of hay and chocolate while the filler had a smell of farmyard. The cold draft gave me flavors of oats and maltiness.
1/3 Lets light up the Gurkha Evil robusto cigar to see what it has to offer
The texture of the cigar was creamy with a lovely light hint of butteriness. The dominant flavors I felt were pepperiness, citrus, cedar, a nuttiness that leaned towards cashews and coffee. In the background were nuances of sweet fruitiness, leather and saltiness. The rethrohale really tickled my nose and gave nuances of woodiness and pepperiness.
2/3 The cigar shows complexity
The texture became a little more creamy with a lighter shade of butteriness. The butteriness was a little more withdrawn than before. The flavors the cigar gave were floral, citrus, sweet woodiness and a nuttiness that reminded me of almond paste. In the background there were flavors of Chocolate that reminded me of nougat chocolate, brewed coffee and thyme. The retrohalation became a little smoother but still tickled my nose slightly and gave shades of woodiness and pepperiness.
3/3 A wonderful ending to the cigar
The texture of the Gurkha Evil was now just creamy and the flavors I felt were dark woodiness, hazelnuts, leather, hay, herbs, bread and a flavor mix between dark chocolate and espresso. In the background the cigar gave off flavors of anise, citrus and fruitiness. The rethrohale was smooth and gave nuances of woodiness and pepperiness.

Conclusion
Gurkha Evil Robusto is a cigar with a lovely complexity and incredibly good balance between the flavors. The body which is on medium makes the cigar suitable for most afisionados. If I compare price vs taste vs quality I think it is where it should be, maybe a little on the low side.
