A friend complained once that he didn’t want to celebrate his birthday, that he was starting to feel old. That age was coming and the thoughts about life were present. A long time ago I heard words that follow me, would it have been better not to be able to celebrate birthdays? Today I celebrated my birthday and celebrated in the usual way, was woken up in the morning with a song, coffee in bed and at lunch had a cigar. The cigar is incredibly important to me, a moment of reflection on the year that has been, the goals that have been achieved and the dreams that are to be followed. I know that many people make their New Year’s resolutions on New Year’s, I make mine on my birthday. On New Year’s I celebrate new opportunities and spend time with family. Birthdays are about enjoying the year that has just passed and planning the new year that you have ahead of you.
I want you to ask yourself one thing, when is the best time to make your new resolutions for the next 365 days? You will surely come up with new ones during the year, on your birthday think about which dreams you have been wanting to follow for a long time and have not, decide that for the next 365 days, at least 15 minutes a day will be dedicated to follow those dreams. Those 15 minutes a day will be approximately 92 hours in a year of dreams being followed.
