Pedromo dubble Aged 12 year Vintage Maduro Robusto

Pedromo will always be Perdomo. Great taste and gualiety

Conctrustion

The band around the cigar combined with the dark maduro wrapper gave me the feeling that I was holding an old whiskey bottle that had been aged in a barrel for decades to bring out the right taste. The feeling was powerful. When I ran my fingers over the cigar I found a slight softer part that raised a concern that it would burn unevenly. I pulled out another of the same cigar to compare and the quality of the second cigar was perfect. There were no veins that could cause it to burn unevenly. The wrapper had an oily feel which raised the sense of quality and perfection behind cigar craftsmanship even more.

Wrapper: Nicaragua – Binder: Cuban seed Nicaragua – Filler: Cuban seed Nicaragua

Taste

I brought the cigar to my nose to see what the aroma had to offer. The scents that the wrapper offered were cedar and dark chocolate while the filler smelled of hay.

1/3 Lets se what Pedromo dubble Aged 12 year Vintage Maduro has to offer

I enjoyed the roast all the more thanks to the feeling I got from the cigar before. With each passing second I was filled with more and more anticipation. The texture was creamy and it became clear quite quickly that the cigar had a full body. The flavors that met my taste buds were mixed in each puff as if it were some kind of creamy stew that is filled with prominent flavors. The flavors I found were a combination of really dark chocolate, a sweet fruitiness and hickory with a nice saltiness. I have to say that I was incredibly surprised and almost shocked by the rehrohalation. The little tickle in the nose was classic. The flavors shocked me. It was like there was a mix of vanilla bean like sweetness and freshly picked pear like sweetness. As I neared the end of the first third, a malty flavor also entered the palette.

2/3 The cigar continues to deliver world-class flavors

As I stepped into the second third, the flavor party continued. The flavors continued in the same style but changed the shade a little. The texture which was creamy before increased a bit. The flavors I felt were dark chocolate. What sounds strange and is rare is that there were almost two fruity shades. It was the general fruitiness and a sweet fruitiness reminiscent of pears in the background. It was very nice but its hard to describe the exact flavor. Flavors of espresso, cedar wood and a nice saltiness to the taste buds were also served up and became more prominent the further I got into the cigar. At the end of the second third, flavors of florals entered the background.

3/3 A good balanced finish

The last third of the cigar finished the cigar in a good and balanced way. The texture was creamy and brought flavors of dark chocolate, a sweet fruitiness reminiscent of the sweetness of pear and espresso.

After taste

The aftertaste was the classic taste of walnuts.

Body

The body of the cigar was full bodied

Smoke time

The time it took to smoke Perdomo double Aged 12 year maduro robusto was 70 minutes

Conclusion

It is a very good cigar from start to finish. The packaging gave a good and inviting impression. The flavors were balanced and the glow even. The time it took to smoke the cigar makes it suitable for moments when you have a little more time to spare. The full body suits the slightly more experienced smoker well. It is not a cigar for those who have just started their cigar journey, but if you have smoked for a while I think it is really worth trying. I will smoke it again.
