Construction
The feel of the cigar was quite soft in construction and there was a slight oiliness that wrapped around it.
Wrapper: Corojo – Binder: Nicaragua – Filler: (cant find info)
Taste
Smell and cold draw
I brought the Rocky Patel the Edge messile corojo cigar to my nose and was met with the wrapper smelling vanilla and slightly fruity while the filler smelled of hay and general sweetness. The cold draft brought nuances of born fruit candy and hay.
Lets light the cigar
I slow roasted the Rocky Patel the egde messile corojo in the usual order and was met with a slightly creamy texture. The cigar was not a complex story and the flavors that came at the beginning were the same until the end. The flavors it gave were hay, saltiness, sweet licorice, nuttiness, espresso and general woodiness. In the background there were shades of cinnamon, florality, citrus peel and earthiness. The retrohalation tickled the nose a little and gave nuances of white pepper.
After taste
Walenuts
Body
Rocky Patel the Edge messile corojo had a medium body bordering on full.
Smoke time
60 minutes
Conclusion
Rocky Patel the edge messile corojo is a well balanced cigar with powerful flavors. The body, which is on the upper limit of medium, suits the slightly more experienced aficionados. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it is almost where it should be, I could possibly imagine paying a little more for it.
