Unfortunately, there is a sick double standard in the world of organic products. Did you know that even if a certain product is believed to be grown organically (even better than some vegetables and better cared for) it cannot be certified. Isn’t that sick? I didn’t know that tobacco for cigars was chemically produced by 3D printers in a lab on the moon, did you know? If I put you in front of two people, one with a wine and alcohol addiction and one with a cigar, who can do you the most harm and is at the greatest risk of passing away earlier? Have cigars or alcohol harmed families ?
You can certify alcohol products, but not tobacco. What would happen if we were allowed to certify black tobacco? Even if the cigar industry has high morals and standards for its products, there would be a possibility that more producers would use less chemical pesticides, (which is already minimal but is used to some extent in our vegetables), the product would be “cleaner” (than it already is). Now another thing, what would happen if the reduction of pesticides were to happen? Even if the climate impact is minimal, it would almost disappear completely. How big a climate impact does the remaining agriculture have?
How do you know that a product is organic, briefly explained.
“An organic product is grown naturally, without synthetic chemicals, and with care for the environment and climate.”
