During one of our conversations, I couldn’t help but wonder why Hemmy chose to create a rum for his cigars instead of finding the Perfect Pairing.
Hemmy explained it was a dream that became a reality
Hemmy’s Gentleman’s Reserve 10 Years is more than just a rum—it is the realization of a long-held dream. I created this rum to craft the perfect pairing with Hemmy’s cigars, a vision that has always been my goal: to share my personal tasting experiences and allow others to enjoy this pleasure with me.
This rum is a carefully curated blend of selected Caribbean rum specialties, aged for up to ten years under tropical skies and refined in Germany with meticulous precision. From the very first sip, the profile unfolds with fine nut and bright orange notes at the forefront, gracefully followed by subtle chocolate tones and a whisper of caramel on the finish. Rich, complex, yet perfectly balanced—ideal to enjoy on its own, and the perfect companion to Hemmy’s cigars.

The Hemmy’s Linea Secreta Series impresses with its unique tobacco blend, carefully designed to combine strength and finesse. This composition gives the cigars an extraordinary aging potential, allowing their character to develop over time into even greater depth and complexity.
