Construction
Looking at the band wrapped around the cigar, the picture on the nightstand gave me the feeling that it was made to be the last cigar of the day before bed. The cigar was firmly rolled and had a oily feeling to it.
Wrapper: Dominican – Binder: Dominican – Filler: Dominican
Smell and cold draw
The wrapper on the Cadwell one night stand cigar had a scent reminiscent of farmyard and floral nuances while the filler smelled of hay. Cold draw gave me flavors of hay.
1/2 Lets light up the Cadwell one night stand cigar and see what it has to offer
The cigar was not particularly complex and could be divided into two parts. The texture of the cigar was buttery with a hint of creaminess. The flavors it offered were general woodiness, fresh spices, floral, nuttiness and semi-dark chocolate. In the background there were shades of ground coffee beans and an autumn leaf bonfire. The retrohalation Gave nuances of white pepper.
2/2 of the Cadwell one night stand cigar
As I got into the second half of the cigar it showed some complexity. The texture became creamier and the flavors it gave were licorice, hay, semi-dark chocolate, nuttiness and brewed coffee. In the background were shades of general sweetness, dark roasted coffee beans and florals. The retrohalation tickled the nose a bit and gave nuances of white pepper and black pepper.
After taste
The aftertaste was quite pleasant, it gave shades of dark chocolate mixed with walnuts
Body
Mild bordering on medium
Smoke time
75 minutes
Conclusion
A good cigar with lighter complexity. The fact that it had a lighter complexity meant that you only had to put a little extra focus on the cigar and not your entire focus. The body made it suitable for most aficionados.
