Drew Estate Undercrown flyg pig perfecto cigar review

I don’t know where they got the idea for the name, but it was hilarious when I started puffing. I put a flying pig to my lips. An incredibly delicious cigar pig, I must say.

Conctrustion

The cigar was incredibly tightly rolled with a slightly oily feel to it. Near the end of the cigar there was a larger vein that I thought would interfere with the glow, but it turned out to be just an unnecessary worry. The cigar glowed incredibly evenly from start to finish.

Scent and cold draw

The wrapper had a scent of fruitiness and hay while the filler smelled fruity. The cold draw was smooth and incredibly sweet, the flavors I felt were milkiness, fruitiness and nuts. The cold draw would work perfectly when you are sitting at work or in the car to enjoy for a while before you have the opportunity to light the cigar.

It all started with a soft and creamy texture followed by flavors of pepperiness, hay, dark chocolate, cappuccino with a little sugar, leather, cedar wood and a nut mix that reminded me of pistachio, cashew and almond. In the background there was a sweetness that reminded me of fruitiness, raisins and a light general acidity. The retrohalation tickled my nose slightly and gave nuances of white pepper and black pepper.

2/3 The cigar showed new sides to the moment

The texture became thicker and creamier. You could say it became really rich and enjoyable. A taste of hay emerged that took up a lot of space on the palette followed by flavors of, general nuttiness, you couldn’t distinguish the nuts very much now, general acidity, a chocolate combination reminiscent of nougat, dark chocolate and raisins, leather, espresso with brown sugar. In the background there were nuances of fruitiness and earthiness. The rethrohale became a little smoother and gave the same nuances as before of white pepper and black pepper.

3/3 Lets see enjoy the last third

As I entered the final puff, the texture changed a bit, the texture was creamy but became a bit drier. The flavors retreated a bit and ended the cigar as a chocolatey dessert. The flavors I felt were dark chocolate, cacao, a combination of walnuts and hazelnuts, a combination of hay and leather and a woodiness reminiscent of oak. In the background there was a lighter sweetness reminiscent of raisins. The retrohalation became smooth and offered nuances of woodiness and hay.

Conclusion

Drew Estate flying pig perfecto is a complex cigar with some chocolatey flavors. It gives off new flavors from start to finish and you never get bored. The body is full so it suits the more experienced aficionados. If I compare price vs taste vs quality I think it is a bit on the low side and you get a little more than what you pay for.
