When I looked at the cigar and saw the band, it felt like I was looking at a luxury watch with a transparent case. It was as if there were a lot of gears hidden and the cigar would show luxurious flavors that only a few get to experience. Translated literally, Mi Querida means my dearest.

Taste
Smell and cold draw
The wrapper gave sweet scents of hay while the filler had the classic smell of farmyard. The cold draft was interesting and was so nice that you could use it as an appetizer during the day before lighting the cigar. The cold draft brought nuances of general fruitiness and hay.
1/3 the taste party begins
The first thing that appeared was a smooth creamy texture. The flavors the cigar offered from the start were smooth and lovely. It offered flavors of a tart fruitiness, sweet hay, cacao beans, a general woodiness in the background, a syrupy sweetness and carbonation. The retrohale was smooth and gave a flavor mix of white and black pepper.
2/3 The cigar shows complexity
As I got into the second third of the Dunbarton Mi Querida Ancho corto the texture changed a bit, the texture was still creamy but you could feel a lighter butteriness in the background. The flavors that the cigar gave were woodiness, a saltiness and nuttiness reminiscent of salty peanuts, hay, fruitiness, Acidity in the citrus direction and carbonation shade. The retrohalation was smooth and gave nuances of white pepper.
3/3 A good finish to the cigar
As I got into the final third, the cigar changed a little more in flavors. The texture was creamy and the butteriness from before was gone. The flavors I felt were dark woodiness in the oak direction, Syrup-like sweetness, cacao, nuttiness reminiscent of salty peanuts, in the background you could find nuances of sweet and sour fruitiness, hay and a lighter taste of coffee beans. The rethro halation tickled my nose a bit and gave a nice taste that reminded me of white pepper and a slight smokiness from a bbq.

The body was on the upper limit of medium bordering on full.

Conclusion
An incredibly good cigar. Smooth flavors, balanced complexity between the thirds. Although the cigar was on the border between medium and full, it is well suited for those who have not smoked for too long. You could say it’s great for the new aficionado, who is just starting their journey and wants to try a medium/full-body cigar, or for the aficionado who wants smooth flavors. If we compare price, quality and taste, it is a bit low, I think. There are many more expensive cigars that do not measure the same quality in terms of quality.
