It may sound strange, but I strongly believe that for most people who like to smoke a cigar outside in nature, some moments are more appreciated. Parts we might have taken for granted or not stopped long enough to enjoy. The cigar half forces a person in today’s fast-paced society to plan the moment and unwind.
Its about enjoying whats around you, be one with the moment. The Words – Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery couldn’t be more tru. For me its about taking time and enjoy the moment, even if its time planed. In today’s society, most people are stuck in tomorrow’s stress already today, live in yesterday’s worries and forget to enjoy the present. When we go for a walk outside, we have a phone in our hand, check social media, check email, call around and forget to stop to enjoy the surroundings. Even though I function largely in the same way many times, the planned moment with the cigar in my hand, makes me more present in the moment. The moment with the cigar makes me let go of the phone, put yesterday’s worries aside, ignore what is planned for tomorrow and be more present with my surroundings. Although you could do it without a cigar, it becomes more natural to me. A way to relax, change focus and be more present in the moment.
