All I can think of is that the cigar reminded me of a luxurious dessert.
Construction
I began to inspect the cigar and enjoyed how perfectly it was made. It was firm and nice without any veins or twigs that would affect the smoking. The feeling I got from the band was a bit like holding a freshly picked chili pepper before dinner.
Wrapper: Honduras – Binder: Honduras – Filler: Honduras
Taste
Smell and cold draw
The whole dessert feeling started right from the smell and the cold draft. The wrapper smelled like a combination of cacao powder and chocolate cake while the filler smelled like dark chocolate. The cold draft was incredibly nice and tasted like dark chocolate.

1/3 of the Rocky Patel burn robusto dessert
It all started with a creamy texture. The flavors the cigar provided were a combination of general chocolate, leather, grass, hay, coffee beans and a vanilla sugar like sweetness in the background. The retrohalation was reminiscent of black pepper. What was even more interesting was that between the puffs, the chocolate nuance remained instead of the classic nuttiness, which heightened the experience.
2/3 The cigar shows a lighter complexity
As I got into the second third the creaminess receded a bit, still creamy but not as noticeable as before. The flavors that emerged were dark chocolate, cacao powder, coffee beans, there was a lighter general sourness, a little saltiness, leather, a woodiness reminiscent of oak, as strange as it sounds but there was a flavor reminiscent of the scent of autumn leaves and a slight general sweetness in the background. The retrohalation was black pepper.
3/3 The cigar ends in an incredibly good way
The cigar kept the same track as before with some minor changes. The texture was like in the second third. The flavors I felt were cacao, coffee beans, espresso, oak, leather, a general nuttiness with a slight saltiness and a slight sourness in the background. As I neared the end of the cigar, flavors of a combination of fresh and dried spices also came into play. The retrohalation was black pepper.
After taste
A combination of nuttiness and dark chocolate
Body
The body of the cigar was medium bordering on full
Smoke time
55 minutes
Conclusion
An incredibly tasty cigar. The body, which was medium on the verge of full, suits slightly more experienced aficionados. Good balance of flavors, none that were too much or too little. If I compare price vs. quality vs. taste, I would like to say that it is almost where it should be, you almost get a little more than what you pay for.
