Every time I lift up a Smoking jacket is a moment I know my taste buds will be delighted.
Construction
The cigar was perfect in every way, firm and evenly rolled. It had a slightly oily feel to it. The band around the Smoking jacket cigar, which was golden without too much pattern, gave a feeling of premium. It was a good example of less is more.
Taste
Smell and cold draw
The scent of the wrapper was reminiscent of chocolate, while the filler smelled of hay.

1/3 of Smoking jacket
I roasted the cigar slowly and the first thing I was greeted with was a smooth and buttery texture. The flavors the cigar presented were a sweet florality that made me think of Lilac flowers. The florality that was the dominant flavor was joined by a slightly sweet vanilla nuance, lighter fruitiness, caffe latte and a maltiness. The retrohale was smooth and gave flavors of freshly picked spices.

2/3 what a joy
As I stepped into the second third of the Smoking jacket cigar, the flavors changed a bit and it showed its complexity. The texture was creamy and the flavors that came were hay, a fruitiness that is best described as a fruit salad, Espresso, slightly salty, The florality that was dominant before was now more in the background, a light shade reminiscent of vanilla bean, in the background there was also a light pleasant sweetness. Retrohalation was slightly tickling and reminiscent of fresh, freshly picked spices.
3/3 great finish of Smoking jacket
I got into the last third of Smoking Jacket and the texture changed a bit. The texture was creamy but got thicker at the same time as a slight butteriness came into the whole thing. The flavors that came into the last third of the cigar were caramel syrup, hay, espresso which were dominant flavors, in the background you found shades of vanilla bean, fruitiness and a bitterness reminiscent of the skin of a peach. The exhale was smooth and had flavors of fresh spices. There was a freshness to the retrohalation that is hard to describe and is quite unique.
After taste
Walenuts
Body
Mild bordering on medium
Smoke time
75 minutes
Conclusion
A good cigar with a mild/medium body that suits most aficionados. Good balance between the flavors. If we compare price, quality and taste, I think you get a lot of cigar for the money.
