Camacho Corojo Robusto

Camacho Corojo Robusto

Is it a good cigar? I think so!

Construction

The cigar was thight and nicely rolled. The oiliness was a little thicker than in many cigars and felt a little tougher. Bands wrapped around the cigar gave me the impression that it is a slightly more robust everyday cigar.

Wrapper: Honduras Corojo  – Binder: Honduras Corojo Ligero – Filler: Honduras

Taste

Camacho Corojo Robusto cigar
Smell and cold draw

The wrapper smelled the general floral. A fresh scent that makes you think of a flower shop. The filler smelled like hay. The cold draft gave nuances of hay and fruitiness that went in the direction of raisins.

1/3 Of Camacho Corojo Robusto

The texture of was creamy and thicker than many other cigars. There was nothing to think about it showed right from the start that it had a medium body bordering on full. The flavors Camacho Corojo Robusto gave were hay, Floweriness that made me think of a flower shop, white pepper. In the background there were flavors of cedar wood, light caffe latte and a citrus nuance that is most easily described as citrus perfume. Retrohalation itched a bit and produced flavors of white and black pepper.

2/3 of Camacho Corojo Robusto

The creamy texture of the Camacho Corojo Robusto cigar continued in the same way as before. At this point, luckily I had water to rinse the palette. The flavors that emerged were dark Stone oven baked bread, oak, raisins, flora that went in the direction of floral perfumes, there was a saltiness and sourness I can’t draw a parallel to anything but was incredibly pleasant. In the background were leather, espresso and a fresh shade that is most easily described as thyme.

3/3 of Camacho Corojo Robusto

As I got into the last third of the cigar the texture was still Creamy but not as thick. The dominant flavors were espresso, oak, a nuttiness reminiscent of walnuts, hay and a flavor reminiscent of light bread. In the background I could feel flavors of raisins, a light sourness, light florality and light leather.
