The cigar was lightly smoked and did not require much focus to be enjoyed.
Construction
The cigar was firm and evenly rolled. The wrapper had a lighter oily feel, almost matte.
Wrapper: Ecuador – Binder: Costa Rica – Filler: Nicaragua and Costa Rica
Smell and Cold draw
The wrapper had a lighter scent of hay while the filler smelled of hay and floral shades. The cold draft gave me flavors of chocolate, nuttiness and a lighter shade of hay.
Let’s light up the Vegas de Santiago White Label pearl cigar to see what it has to offer.
The cigar had a lighter creamy texture and the dominant flavors I felt were hay, nuttiness and fresh florality. In the background were flavors of raisins, milk chocolate, classic tobacco and espresso. The retrohale lightly tickled the nose and gave nuances of black pepper, white pepper and hay.
After taste
Walenuts
Body
Light bordering on medium
Smoke time
30 minutes
Conclusion
The Vegas de Santiago White Label perla cigar is a lightly smoked cigar that is not particularly complex. Perfect for days when you don’t want to focus too much but still enjoy the cigar. The body, which was light on the border of medium, makes it suitable for most aficionados. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it is where it should be.
