I was impressed with what I got for the price of the cigar.
Construction
The cigar had a smooth and firm feel with a lighter oily feel to it.
Wrapper: Nicaragua – Binder: Nicaragua – Filler: Nicaragua
Smell and cold draw
The wrapper had a lovely floral and chocolate scent while the filler smelled like hay. The cold draw of the cigar gave a hint of oatmeal.
Lets light up the Joya Flor De Nicaragua Toro cigar
It was not a complex cigar, the flavors that emerged were the same from start to finish. When I lit the Joya Flor De Nicaragua Toro cigar I was greeted with an incredibly light draw without any prominent texture. The flavors the cigar offered were floral, a tartness reminiscent of lime, espresso and sweet bread. In the background were shades of dark chocolate and nuttiness. The retrohale was smooth and gave nuances of cayenne pepper.
After taste
The aftertaste of the cigar was slightly bitter and gave a nuance of walnuts
Body
Mild
Smoke time
55 minutes
Conclusion
Joya Flor De Nicaragua Toro is a lightly smoked cigar with a mild body that suits most people. The flavors are well balanced and are the same from start to finish. If I compare price vs taste vs quality, I think it is a little under priced, not much but a little.
