It wasn’t one of the most complex cigars I’ve smoked, but one of the tastiest. I enjoyed the cigar from start to finish.

Construction

When I held the cigar, I did not find any soft parts or larger veins that would indicate that the cigar would glow unevenly. The cigar was firm and nicely rolled.

Taste

The Anastasia kartel Robuston wasn’t the most complex cigar taste-wise I’ve smoked, but without a doubt one of the tastiest. The aroma was sweet hay and the cold draft gave shades of dark chocolate.

The cigar wasn’t the most complex and the flavors I got were in the first and second halves instead of in thirds. The fact that the cigar wasn’t complex didn’t matter because the flavors that met my taste buds were so prominent and balanced that I wanted them to go on for a while longer. The texture was buttery with a slight creaminess. In danced floral flavors. The floral taste was a bit reminiscent of tulip. There was a flavor reminiscent of caramel syrup in the background, salty peanuts and a sweet hay flavor. Between puffs, I could feel nuances of dark chocolate.

The buttery texture was almost completely gone and the creaminess became the dominant texture. The flavors changed a bit but kept the same style. Dark chocolate, oak and florals became the dominant flavors. The florality that used to be tulip in the earlier part was now the general floweriness. There was a sweetness that accompanied the flavors. In the background, I could find a slightly malty taste, salty peanuts, and slight leather flavor. When I put the cigar down, I felt a wish that it would continue for a while longer.

Aftertaste

The aftertaste was short and reminiscent of walnuts. It wasn’t the over-the-top flavor, it was more light without the overly dry texture many cigars have.
